The Otago Polytechnic is retrofitting a small office block for SHAC 2011.
The renovated offices in B Block will be a delightful and long lasting work environment, with some nice visual and technical features. It will capture more useable energy than it needs, gifting the excess for other uses, capturing more water than required, leaving the rest for food garden, and capturing misdirected waste from internal and other campus sources for further use.
A retrofitted regenerative office block - beautiful and long lasting office retrofit emphasizing local materials, zero energy, zero water, zero waste. Including retrofits that would also work in your home.
B Block will also be a type of ‘outdoor exhibition’ and will extend the Living Campus direction of communication and education to the wider community who visit the location.
